We’re pleased to announce Mouse & Bear have successfully passed our cybersecurity assessment to achieve Cyber Essentials certification.

Cyber Essentials is a UK government-backed scheme which helps organisations protect themselves against common online security threats, such as phishing scams or malicious software.

To achieve Cyber Essentials certification, we demonstrate that Mouse & Bear implement and maintain five key technical controls:

Firewalls and routers – setting up secure boundaries to prevent unauthorised access to our internal networks

Secure configuration – ensuring our devices and software are configured securely to block out unnecessary features and applications

User access control – restricting administrative privileges and ensuring only necessary personnel have access to critical systems and data

Malware protection – implementing measures (such as antivirus software) to block viruses, ransomware and malicious software

Security update management – keeping all our operating systems, firmware and applications up to date to patch known vulnerabilities
